THE FORMER FLIMWELL BIRD PARK

HAWKHURST ROAD, FLIMWELL, EAST SUSSEX

The former bird park covers approximately 23 hectare and has 14 man made ponds down the east side. The main entrance is off the A268 Hawkhurst Road and there is an area of 7,200 sq m (60m x 120m) formally used as the car park to the Bird Park which has consent by appeal for the parking, vehicle storage, and display for sale of cars.

The land falls significantly from the A268 on the north side, levelling out along the southern boundary adjacent to the A21. There is an access off the A21 at West Lodge and a further access off the A268 at the reservoir on the lands western border.
